I need to take a shower. Lambert, I honestly don’t know how you can stand it, and wade into that cesspool. I was never one big for the GOS, I prefer smaller venues where you can have day long conversations, instead of snarky one liners, but whatever floats your boat.

But the one thing about the progressive blogosphere that I always felt good about, is that shit wouldn’t be tolerated.

That is just such unadulterated garbage, I can’t believe it, til I see it. These people have completely forgotten the lost art of scathing commentary, it’s just now he can say the nastiest slur against another human being, without even using bad language!! As if that’s something to be PROUD of?

I think Clinton’s gun pander is silly, but I don’t doubt the veracity of it. I know exactly where she is talking about, though I live nowhere near PA. They aren’t all the same, and politicians should always avoid using broad brushes, but there is a gun culture here, so yes everybody has used a rifle, been hunting or fishing, and eaten plenty of fresh fish and venison.

And, now, it’s supposed to be an insult to be compared to Annie Oakley? Though these people think making a Rocky comparison is supposed to be demeaning, so maybe they just don’t have a clue.

But, honestly, I expected the great bastion of the progressive blogosphere* to look a little different than the Free Republic.

*I know GOS isn’t really that, but it’s one of the biggest and well-known(thanks to that business model lambert keeps mentioning).

Check out the ABC News poll. Look at what happens when the people are flooded with misinformation and an all-out smear campaign. By a 2-1 margin, Democrats (including Democratic “leaning” Independents) believe Obama is the more electable candidate. And 58% of all Americans believe Clinton is untrustworthy and dishonest. This is how they’re going to try and take her out: have everyone believe she’s unelectable because she’s so damn unlikeable, just to fuck with the popular vote count

As for that ABC poll. I’m living here in the most densely populated, large town in Bucks County, PA and there is a hell of alot more Hillary yard signs here then there are snObama signs. In fact, I’ve only seen one snObama sign, and it was on a neighbor’s yard who I am friendly with. He, like me is a dedicated Democrat. He’s a lunch bucket, Union Dem who doesn’t use the Internet. He asked me about the Primary and I told him the more you learn about Obama, the less you’re going to like him. Then snObama-gate broke. Needless to say, my Catholic friend didn’t care for that one too much.
