i actually like david’s work a lot and i wish he didn’t have such a rep for being a pissy queen. and i’ve gotta say: isn’t this a ’circle of life’ moment? i seem to recall once upon an issue some months or years back, DS and GOS were dancing to different tunes.

I’d say that David Sirota is a straight shooter. A few months ago the entire GOS community was going for his throat because he is critical of Obama and his fans. That doesn’t mean he’s never going to say a bad word about Hillary either. In fact, he’s been consistently critical about her on NAFTA.

And let’s remember, as much as we dislike Obama around here, it’s Hillary Clinton we’re talking about… That’s the last place I thought I’d be a year ago. Hell, I even celebrated when she finished 3rd in Iowa.

Has written some fairly disengenuous things about Clinton (if I get a moment, I’ll look up a link). That’s all well and good, it’s politics afterall. Spin is part of the game for partisans.

But what bothers me is that having seen so many people willing to throw their credibility away for Obama, and I don’t mean advocating, but being overtly dishonest (either intellectually or factually), it makes me wonder what other issue or person they’d do the same for? Have I been wrong to trust what they say all along?

Assuming Obama doesn’t flat out steal the nomination, I’ll get over the primary battles, but the faith they’ve shaken in trusted sources of information is going to take a lot longer to restore.

as coming from that direction. Folks, we got trouble…whole lot of trouble right here in River City.
