NOTE: If McCain is planning for us to stay in Iraq for 100 years, does Petraeus leave a living/dying/killing will that says when we can leave, or will they be keeping his head in one of those “Futurama” jar thingies?

If McCain doesn’t realize that the military is under civilian control under the Constitution, then he is not qualified to be President. If he intends to abdicate his Constitutional role to military officers, then let’s buy him some bananas for his republic.

Oh and By the Way it just goes to show that no one can Do It like Bush can. When one plays McCain’s quote in one’s mind, it seems impossible to believe a serious candidate for POTUS could utter such a call for an abdication of presidential responsibility in the new Millenium. Not only can Bush speak it but he can make it National Policy without a general uproar.
