Why are they asking Limbaugh to apologize for calling serving soldiers "phonies"?
They always ask for apologies, and it just makes them look weak.
How about another resolution condemning Limbaugh? Or better:
How about taking Limbaugh off Armed Forces radio?
Right now, the troops are fed a steady diet of winger propaganda, and we're going end up with a Praetorian Guard because of it (and that's no accident).
So, let's put an end to that. While we're at it, more channels than FOX might be a good idea.

How about standing up, like Tom Allen of Maine,
and announcing that the whole "recommit" idea was, not unlike St. Rush of the Limp Bough, completely full of crap and a waste of legislative time?
'Cause, of course, then they'd be accused of "not playing well with others," or some Traditional Press BS playground psychobabble.
I am NOT a wingnut, but I swear, sometimes between the dumbing-down and the "no bullying" that's ... kindergartnified ... our national discourse, I just want somebody to acknowledge that, yes, there are people who do bad things, and yes, they should face serious consequences for that behavior.
I committed a huge crime. I was not born rich, nor powerful, and I did not immediately set out to do any and every crooked thing required to make myself either/both. I had, you know, "other priorities." Like looking in the mirror without puking.
