United States Poetic Justice Department
I nominate MJS for Attorney Generalissimo.
The Myths tell us that Justice happens. Karma and all that.
But maybe the real lesson the Myths are trying to teach is that Justice must be made to happen.
What if the Karma Department is corrupt? What if Justice doesn't just happen all by itself? What if the Bad People continue to enjoy fancy meals and high-threadcount linens?
Maybe the Myths are there to tell us that when Evil reigns supreme this is not the correct order of things. So maybe the purpose of Myths is to encourage us humans to make things right.
Myths come from the subconscious, just like dreams. In my (verry limited) understanding of Jungian psychology, the subconscious is there to help. It's a complex survival mechanism. For individuals, and for the species as a whole.
