Pravda. Mission accomplished!
Over a span of three years, Americans watched progress that took almost a generation to accumulate evaporate. The promise of retirement built on the inevitable rise of the stock market proved illusory for most. Homeownership, once heralded as a pathway to wealth, became an albatross.
A house and a 401(k) -- and what a scam they turned out to be -- aren't "wealth" as the truly wealthy think of wealth. But still.
Here's the same story in Izvestia. Funny how Warren and the rest 'em want to "defend the middle class" but never do say exactly how they're going to do it.
And of course, neither party can indict the other for this, because they're both in on it.
