Those evil communists. As we devolve into third world status, they have the gall to rebuild and expand their infrastructure:
Investing in a Portland cement manufacturer might make sense - China was already the world's largest importer of cement for concrete, and their demand is going to increase.
Can I haz my infrastructure plz?

it's hard to imagine, but some nations actually do
want to thrive, and have gov'ts willing to take steps to ensure they do. it's been a long few years here, and i'm starting to believe that the greatest damage bush has done, is to convince many or most in this country that "no, we can't."
i had a depressing coversation with a republican recently, in which i realized he was so programmed as to completely misunderstand why his business is tanking right now. he really struck me with how helpless he felt, at the same time. "they're all crooks," is his new mantra, now that obama is taking power. when people don't feel they have any say or control over the process of governance, it's dire for the future hopes of the nation. not that i think he's wholly wrong, wrt the current batch of Villagers wearing and exchanging red and blue jerseys.
