Now, granted, what Weiner, a single-payer advocate, is discussing is pushing the wretched "public option," but at least he understands how to fight for something in Congress and win. And he's unapologetic about it, too.

Gah, Matthews is an idiot
He keeps talking over Weiner throughout the last half, going on about "wars" and "armagaddon" and so on, as if Democrats fighting Republicans (in order to get something good for the people!) were so obviously and inherently a bad thing.
I for one would love to see it.
edited to add: Matthews also keeps referring to using reconciliation as "breaking the Senate rules". I mean, WTF
