At propaganda, we are still such amateurs

Reuters:

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin was feted by Russian media on Sunday for saving a television crew from an attack by a Siberian tiger in the wilds of the Far East.

I wonder which candidate will try something similar first? And what will they save? Readers?

Cheney

has already been there, done that, except he shot his buddy in the face with birdshot instead of a charging tiger with a tranquizer dart as did Putin. If Cheney hadn't gotten all those deferments, would he have learned how to shoot? Who would he have saved? From all available evidence, especially his paranoia, I suspect only his own sorry butt.

BTW, doesn't Palin have a reputation as a moose hunter? In mating season those beasties have been known to take on railroad locomotives.

Just sayin'..

Yes, what with Palin ...

... shooting moose (meese?), and Cheney shooting Republican donors, we should have a merry time of it over the next few months.

Who could forget this proud moment?

Yeah, I didn't want to bring that up

because I didn't want to trash Carter. I know, I know, I'm just old softie with a weakness for Presidents who called it right on energy. Sigh.

Well, as a woman-hating girl-slamming willfully stupid fuckwit

trashing Carter doesn't even raise my heartbeat. So liberating, actually.

If Carter hadn't half-assed everything else, he might have done some good while in office. Pity he didn't hit his stride until afterwards. As with Bill Clinton, I kind of semi like the guy but considering how he squandered his opportunity I find it hard to muster any huge respect. His work afterwards, yes, but as president not so much. Another soft squishy muddle-headed empath again this time, but still better than a PTSD rageaholic and his shiny new Magician’s Assistant.

Fuck fuck fuckety fuck fuck fuck.

lambert's picture

Oh, you're a guy, too?

Haw.

Seriously, I agree with Carter hitting his stride after; that's the problem of running and winning from a provincial base, I think.

Here's a frightening thought: Bush only hitting his stride after his Presidency.

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
