Best anti-deficit terrorist one-liner ever

lambert's picture

Read the whole article from UMKC, but this one-liner is dynamite:

The need to balance the budget over some time period determined by the movements of celestial objects is a myth.

[genuine laughter]

Because why the "celestial objects"?

The contracts for principal and interest repayments are written in calendar terms, which depend on the movement of the moon around the earth, and the earth around the sun.

And why is that?

Because the bankster middlemen got in the way, and are charging us all for the use of our own money ("the national debt").

And why is that?

Because they can.

* * *

I mean, who's the sovereign here? The banksters, or the government "of the people, by the people, for the people"? I know what the banksters would answer, but is that our answer?

NOTE The article is also a massive takedown of the This Time Is Different best-seller, where a couple of professor shill for the banksters. Again, read it all.

UPDATE I'm asked to credit UMKC department chair Jim Sturgeon for that monster riff.

If you liked this post, buy the author some books.

The Only Way to Grab the Cabal by the Balls...

There is only one way, Lambert, to grab the bankster cabal by the balls. That way is to stop overspending. We have to.

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
