Blah blah, they're lying about progress the benchmarks and accomplishments that resulted from the thing they tried a couple years ago and it didn't work then, either "surge." But you knew that. Goddess I wish I'd come up with this response: Not in the Face!

I bow in Ian's general direction. It's a phrase that will continue to have meaning for many years to come, way to keep it alive, bro.

like dispassionate reason, is another weapon to fight the true obscenity of war crimes. in this fight we have to use everything. which is why i think this is genius. even the Highbrow types can get away with slipping it in...um, anyway.

i just laughed and laughed when i read it for the first time. we need to get everyone to have that attitude about republicans all the time. and ultimately, willing to make republicans take it "in the face" in every way, or at least refuse to stand for the reverse anymore.
