I really don't get given all that is bad and wrong with McCain and Palin the supposed party of equality and tolerance feels the need to use ageism and sexism as shameless bludgeons. BTW, "crotchety old kook" is pretty tame compared to other things I've seen said about him. This whole thing has been indentity politics at its very worst.
