1/4 cup lemon juice
3/8 cup sugar
1 1/2 pints boiling water
IcePour the boiling water over the sugar. Stir until dissolved. Stir in juice. Serve over ice.
Or, for the SOTU—make a double batch. Stir in half of a fifth of black-label Jack. Serve over ice.
