Voicedata Mining, the Fourth Amendment and Police States

In several places around the internets this evening there is discussion that this is all about the return of Total Information Awareness or some sort of voicedata mining system.

I think for sure there’s something else going on here. My guess is they’ve done a helluva lot more than they’re admitting to and it will take quite an investigation to uncover it.

My guess is that they’re listening to every cellphone conversation, heck probably every phone conversation they can get their hands on listening for certain phrases or something. My guess is they’ve violated Federal laws and the Constitution in some rather major ways that they’re currently trying to cover up.

In fact, I suspect the little elves over at the NSA are destroying evidence as we speak.

Hey, journalists, can you please get on this pronto? We may be looking at the end of democracy and the beginning of a police state square in the face so you might have to do something that makes the Bushies a little, um, you know, pissed at you.

Or you could just shut up and fuck this one up too like you have the other ten major fuck ups by this administration.
