Bush Depicted as Foul-mouthed Frat Boy in New Oliver Stone Movie

So says the Independent, adding that the movie will also depict him as a dried-out drunk with a baseball obsession and a difficult relationship with his father… and I thought it was going to be a work of fiction and not a documentary!

And check out the cast so far:

  • Josh Brolin George W Bush
  • Elizabeth Banks Laura Bush
  • James Cromwell George H Bush
  • Thandie Newton Condoleezza Rice
  • Ioan Gruffudd Tony Blair
  • Ellen Burstyn Barbara Bush (!!!)

I’ll have to see this just for Ellen Burstyn as Barbara Bush!

Here’s a question for all of you out there: when the movie will be about this primary, who should play HRC, BO, Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Mark Penn, David Axelrod, Chris Matthews, KO, etc?

Let your imagination run wild!

For Chris Matthews

The best person to play Chris Matthews is Carrot Top.

For Karl Rove?

Elijah Wood.

In a fat suit.

Can I let my

imagination run wild about Ioan Gruffud, instead? I don’t care if he is playing Poodle Boy. An Josh Brolin?!!??! as W, dammit.

HRC, that’s wasy, Flo(Polly Holliday) from “Alice”. I saw her in this movie,
and I said to my fiance, she looks just like Hillary Clinton.

Bill Clinton for First Dude!!!

Maybe Whoopi Goldberg for

Maybe Whoopi Goldberg for Donna Brazile?

Wait…this is happening in the future, right?

Diane Lane for HRC?

You Do All Realize

…that nothing could be better for the Bush legacy than for Oliver Stone to make a critical movie about him? Stone has immense talent as a filmmaker, but he’s an arrogant fool.

I thought the World Trade Center got everything about the political and social implications of what happened on 9/11 completely wrong.

On the other hand, I think this casting thread is wonderful and hilarious.

Leah, where's your cast list?

You’re in the industry… Though I notice that I’m the only one to tackle casting Karl Rove. Maybe the image was simply too brain searing….
