Bush didn't get his own memo on "Democratic"

lambert's picture

In Bush's latest trainwreck of a presser:

BUSH: And we'll reach out to Democrat members as well as Republican members to get this bill reauthorized.

He just can't help himself, can He? Just like Rove, Bush says He wants to work with Democrats, but He slips in the old slur the first chance He gets. And so soon after all the Bipartisan jollity at the Democrat's retreat, where Bush put ‘ic‘ back in ‘Democrat Party‘ (AP). What a shame.

And the best part?

Bush used the slur in his 35-paragraph filibuster question in answer to a softball question from Mike Allen, Beltway teabagger. I know why Mike's mouth is foul, and it's not from bad words.

And Politico is now 0 for 2 on noticing the slur. So there you have it!

Oh, he got the memo.

The memo went like this:

"Make a big joke of using Democrat as an adjective, then act like the Dems are a bunch of hypersensitive pussies if they complain.

Then just go back to what we were doin. Heh-heh. That is all."

Mike Allen!

Wow, lambert, thanks for "Beltway teabagger" for Gannon/Guckert2.0

You're welcome, Teddy

One of our claimed reasons of existence is to change the tone of discourse in Washington, and "Beltway teabagger" does that quite well, wouldn't you agree? Feel free to propagate this one far and wide....

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
