He certainly should. Buck Naked Politics has much linky goodness:
Yeah, it’s pretty awful. Many blogging Dems, including some who tilt toward Obama, are lifting their eyebrows at this new riff on an old non-favorite. … Robert Farley at Lawyers, Guns, and Money is appalled at this “recycling of Republican talking points.”
I wasn’t at all bothered by Obama’s invocations of Reagan; I’m sure that virtually every politician elected since 1986 has said something nice about the Gip at some point. But using what amounts to a facsimile of the 1994 anti-health care ad is pretty twitchy. (LGM)
As one of those health care advocates says, what’s needed now is for Obama to RETRACT IT.
Hey, Harry & Louise is so 90s! I thought we were supposed to put the battles of the 90s behind us? So confusing!
And if we have to refight the battles of the 90s, are we really supposed to refight them from the Republican side? I guess I’d better check with David Axelrod. He’ll know what to say.
Prepare for to play another round of What Obama Really Means! (Any number can play, but only Obama Fans get to win….)

The man is rolling on major momentum:
http://www.openleft.com/showDiary.do?dia…
In California, the poll found Obama led Clinton by 45 percent to 41 percent, with a margin of error of 2.9 percentage points. Clinton held statistically insignificant 1-point leads on Obama in New Jersey and Missouri, well within the margin of error of 3.4 percentage points in both surveys.
This is bad. I can’t see Clinton pulling out a win after Super Tuesday if Obama does as well as he normally does in GOTV.
I fear the WORM
will continue in an Obama administration. The Oborg just serve to justify, rationalize whatever Obama says or does and since we (i.e. progressives) need him, while he certainly doesn’t need us, I expect more Harry & Louise-type nonsense.
Obama's Harry & Louise mailer.
You will note that no one disputes the accuracy of the ad. The real problem for the people denouncing Obama is the following: Like the Harry and Louise ad, Obama’s mailer commits one unforgivable sin: it tells the truth.
What?
The truth is that Obama is trying to convince you that (a) Hillary’s plan does not do as much as Obama’s plan does to reduce the costs of healthcare (a lie), and (b) that universal healthcare really isn’t a good idea (also a lie).
Much the same as the original Harry and Louise ad.
I can see why Obama is attracting so many Republicans and “independents”.
More liberal media at The Sideshow.
Does Axelrod pay you by the comment, Catron?
’Cause not only are you content free, you’re wrong. Avedon corrects you above, and the link in the post — here it is again for your convenience — gives plenty of reasons why the truth is exactly what the ad does not tell. Many people are disputing the accuracy of the ad. Please paste your comments somewhere else.
Of course, all things are justified in the name of He Who Is Obama….
[x] Any (D) in the general. [ ] Any mullah-sucking billionaire-teabagging torture-loving pus-encrusted spawn of Cthulhu, bless his (R) heart.
Obama puts me in mind of W, irrevocably.
Whence cometh his support?
Who gives him money?
Who wants him in the White House?
Who thinks he will be the perfect next puppet?
What has he done, on the record, to convince anyone how he will act in the future?
None of the answers I can find leave me sanguine.
Far be it from me
— but I’m not real big on the “Bush Latte” characterization.
Yes, I see that it’s a pun on “Bush Lite.” Clever, sort of. But not very appropriate, especially since you’re protesting Obama’s right-wing framing.
Before somebody jumps in with accusations, I already voted, by mail, for Edwards.
If you can suggest a better one...
… I’m all for it. I’m not totally happy with it, but we need something to characterize the rightward slide (which, for all I know, was open-primay driven.)

Well I for one don't see what's wrong with
“Bush’s Shadow” but there may be some who find it not PC, too disruptive; and then there is the question of how to play it in the general against McCain - perhaps call the old man “Reagan’s Ghost”?
the latte communicator?
the great latte hope?
i bet the star wars fans out there can come up with a luke/annikin ref i’m too tired to think of just now…
raisin republicanism?
/erases naughty entry that will only cause us trouble/
yeah, if he’s the one, we’re going to have to come up with a more specific to the man moniker.
Thank You For Being Brave
It takes guts and wisdom to tell the truth and to talk about substance in the fawning MSM/Obama/celebrity-dominated blogosphere, and you are one of those courageous and intelligent voices. Thank you so much for holding Obama accountable.
You're welcome, Nancy.
Of course, we had good inspiration.
Well, maybe
we can discuss the candidates without any cute nicknames at all. Besides the latte problem, there’s 1) a chance to swim upstream against the increasing trivialization of our political discourse, and 2) the fact that Bush likes to give people nicknames.
