Bush to speak and go on the attack -- Approval ratings to drop accordingly

You know if Bush thinks going on the attack about Iraq is going to help him, he's sorely mistaken. It will just make people focus more on how they lied us into this war. It will backfire in a disastrous way.

Just take a look at this story from CNN preparing us for Bush's speech today. Most of it by necessity lays out the case for how they lied to us. If this is the best advice Rove can give W, I'd suggest they cut him loose. He's an albatross around their necks AND he gives bad advice apparently.

I'm thinking upper 20s are on the horizon folks. I hope Atrios will give me a pony then as I've been predicting upper 20s for a while.
