Calling My Shot

Good afternoon.  Happy Friday.

First post, yay!*

One steps away, another steps in.

It's been a wild week.**   Emotions are running high.  The spin is coming from all angles.***

The subject of Edwards' non-endorsement came up in another post and I casually said:

I am of the opinion that the ’fix’ is in, and Obama is going to get the nomination. Anything outside of that would be a major glitch in the martix.

I’m just laying back and anticipating my enjoyment of it all.

Ted Kennedy (to my ignorance) decided to do all he could to help make my prediction possible:

Kennedy, 76, without naming names, said Obama should pick someone who "is in tune with his appeal for the nobler aspirations of the American people. If we had real leadership -- as we do with Barack Obama -- in the No. 2 spot as well, it'd be enormously helpful," Kennedy said.

Man of distinction, that Ted.  U.N.I.T.Y!!!!!

So I'm calling my shot.****  Late in the game probably, but the nomination is going to Obama.  Those who recently have done the same might look upon this as simply stating the obvious and I'm just being obstinant.  Hell man(and woman!!!) you might even be right.  This week has been an eye-opener for me and others who went into this primary with somewhat open minds.  Damn if we could have only seen what lay ahead of us.

Lemme stop trippin...

our dumb asses would of still ended up in the same situation.

As Arthur Silber***** has said:

In short: the ruling elites do not care what you think. I repeat: they do not care.

And with that...have a good weekend!!!!!

*With all this html, might be the one and only LOL.

I hope you are wrong because I am not looking forward to having to "lie back and think of England".

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
