On Wednesday morning June 29 we showed up at the downtown Atlanta office of Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) as part of a gang of local residents, mostly black and including former Rep. Cynthia McKinney and others recently returned from Libya. We came to confront Lewis, supposedly a man of peace and nonviolence, for his vote to fund the illegal bombing of Africans in Libya, and his support of the heinous US intervention in progress there.
