3) Israel and its American advocates control both houses of the US Congress as well as both Democratic and Republican parties. The US provides Israel with $3 billion a year (Margolis) Read more about 10 Considerations Post Netanyahu’s Racism/Fascism Victory
Saudi Arabia King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz is dead. He was 90 years old. According to Bill Van Auken in "Saudi king’s death threatens to deepen US crisis in Middle East" Abdullah was “the head of one of the world’s last remaining absolute monarchies.” Van Auken also labels it a “theocratic dictatorship.”
This is a significant event in the mainstream corporate media as well as among the heads of state of the western imperialist nations. Read more about Bow or Bobble Respectful Heads for King Who Lopped Them Off
According to Patrick Martin in “Political issues in the Ebola crisis”, the Ebola outbreak in West Africa has infected more than 8,000 people and 4,000 have died. There are no signs that this outbreak is about to be controlled. Read more about Door #1-Ebola Safety, Door #2-WW III: US Chooses Door #2
So far there has been only a relatively tiny amount of international aid to combat the profoundly dangerous Ebola epidemic. There have only been a few hundred international volunteer doctors and nurses, many of whom are now dead or who have withdrawn to avoid infection. Israel continues to slaughter Palestinian civilians. It continues to destroy homes, hospitals, mosques. It continues to damage basic infrastructures that provide water, electricity and sanitation.
The Washington DC government and US corporate mainstream media continue to support the Israeli slaughter. Read more about NYT-Spin of War Crimes; Israel to Holocaust Survivors: STFU
US, Europe, Israel, Saudi Arabia have worked so hard together to bring us to the brink of WWIII.
Ukraine is where the US helped stage a coup that left violent neo-Nazis running a puppet government.
Obama and his administration were FURIOUS over losing their power grab for Black Sea control. They and the Kiev government are willing to have Russian Ukrainians in the east massively slaughtered and to create a humanitarian crisis for the survivors as collective punishment, ethnic cleansing and to provoke a military reaction from Russia.

In reading Dennis Bernstein’s “The Whys Behind Israel’s Gaza Slaughter” I noted his references to a “slaughter war” being waged by Israel on Gaza. In his article Vijay Prashad, professor of international studies at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut had this to say: Read more about Israel Wages 'Slaughter War' Claiming Victimhood
Bill Van Auken in “Air strikes kill civilians as Israel prepares new Gaza bloodbath” calls out Jen Psaki, US State Department spokesperson who, after declaring that the Zionist regime of Israel had a “right to defend itself”, was asked by a reporter whether Gazan Palestinians had a right to defend themselves. Her response? “I don’t understand what you’re getting at.”
Thomas Gaist and Barry Grey in "The bloodbath in Donetsk":
The Obama administration in Washington and the Merkel government in Berlin both congratulated the newly elected president, billionaire oligarch Petro Poroshenko, even as he was overseeing the bloodbath in the east.
Obama and Merkel signaled their support for the mass killing, portraying it as a means of stabilizing and unifying the country.
In “Obama’s West Point speech: A prescription for unending war” Bill Van Auken exposes the folly of the corporate media in framing Obama’s recent speech as “an embrace of a more multilateral and less militaristic American foreign policy.” Read more about Obama’s Hitlerian Comments @ West Point
On Friday in the White House Rose Garden Barack Obama held a press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel during which the U.S. President expressed full support for a harsh crackdown against “pro-federalism”, pro-Russian, anti-coup Kiev government protesters in eastern Ukraine at the same time threatening Russia.

I knew Obama was not sincere in any humanitarian intentions in Syria.
I knew Obama would not work with Russia to bring peace to Syria. Instead the Obama administration is doing all it can to demonize Russia re the Ukraine situation and re Sochi Olympics and the gay issue. The corporate media, of course, is obliging. Doing all it can also to discredit Russia.

So Obama stood up at his year-end press conference on Friday and gave “an Orwellian defense of unrestrained US spying” according to Bill Van Auken in “Latest Snowden revelations expose Obama’s lies on NSA spy programs”.
“I have confidence that the NSA is not engaging in domestic surveillance and snooping around…”
I caught some of Lawrence O’Donnell’s show yesterday in which O’Donnell glibly shilled for the Obama administration against the findings of federal Judge Leon. O’Donnell also handily soft-balled questions to one of Obama’s NSA reform panelists in which the two found common cause in lauding the Obama administration for its “lesser evil” spy program. Do they not recall it took Edward Snowden to expose it???? Read more about Whitewash Continues of NSA Criminality
Bill Van Auken in “US ultimatum on permanent occupation of Afghanistan” writes:
... In 2012, the Democratic incumbent campaigned for reelection vowing that all US troops would be out of Afghanistan by December 31, 2014. His running mate, Joe Biden, declared, “We are leaving Afghanistan in 2014, period. There are no if, ands or buts.”
