It's a really good thing that God (Ceiling Cat, FSM, Buddha, Deity of your choice) has claimed vengeance, and the right to judgement (Romans 12:19-21). 'Cause, otherwise, the Catholic authorities who chose to excommunicate the mother of, and doctors for, a nine-year-old girl raped by her stepfather and pregnant with twins after the pregnancy was terminated last week, would seriously be at the top of my list of the most major jerks in the history of the known universe, yo. Especially when they explained that the stepfather wouldn't be excommunicated.

A winger's job is never done
My heart aches for this girl and her mother. Not only was the girl taken advantage of by the man that's supposed to be her parent, but her society throws her and her mother to the curb, to boot. I'd like to inform these kind of institutions that they don't get to call themselves civilized with any seriousness, especially when the very essence of their dogma fails civilization and humanity, both.
Pro-life, my black ass. They've helped in the obliteration of the future lives of this girl and her mother, forever.

I don't agree with the anti-choice view, but I can understand why some are. But what makes this outrageous is that she is nine and will probably die if she went to term. Fetuses have more right to life than an innocent 9 year old girl who's already living and breathing. Oy.
