Cheney end runs
Cheney doesn't have to "go around" Bush. Cheny has been at the controls since day 1. It's been Cheney all along and will be, until America's bitter end. There are folk that tried to illuminate Clemens and a host of others as to the real power behind the Bush throne and what their devious little treason was all about. Clemens and a myriad of those "appeasing" types wouldn't hear it. It's about damn time that someone has finally shaken off the political coma and ran looking for a cup of strong coffee.
How incredibly, utterly illegal this is
seems worthy of mention.
For a vice-president to even be thinking of such a plan is wandering into the realm of alt-history at best, sci-fi more like it. For him to be talking to anyone about it gets us into the realm of conspiracy to subvert the legally elected (yeah, I know, I know...just work with me here) President, which is at least as much of a crime as talking to some buddies about knocking over the local liquor store would be.
Actually setting up plans--including collusion with a foreign government no less? A quick trip to the nearest Federal courthouse followed by a judicially-ordered long stay at St. Elizabeth's or similar facility should be in order, and I mean no later than tonight. The man is clearly "a threat to himself and others" as the law allowing involuntary committment to a mental facility requires.
An Iranian Bypass Operation
This is not a question of liking or disliking Bush.
Until he has become legally impeached he is the president of the US. Whoever tries to bypass the authority of the president commits treason and has to be dealt with accordingly.
If that does not happen the US has become an absolute anarchy, which may be what is needed for the population to get its constitution and country back.
However, it is not going to be nice, and the "New American Century" will be over. That might be the case anyway, and nobody should regret that, least of all the common Americans, who are lied to, manipulated and exploited like no other people since the fall of the Soviet Union.

Both Bush and Cheney are puppets to the NeoCon propositions, and that is not new. Bush can say that lack of info caused us into war declaration with iran.
