Mukasey Rejects Call for CIA Tape Details
Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey today sharply rebuffed congressional demands for details about the Justice Department's inquiry into the destruction of CIA interrogation tapes, saying that providing such information would make it appear that the department was "subject to political influence."
Tell me again why it was so important to vote this guy in?
Mukasey has already come out in favor of the Republican scheme to steal election 2008 with poll taxes voter ID, and now this.

Better just to cripple Justice and let it limp along, rather than grant Mukasey authority.

Add another repug to the pospile. But we already knew he belonged there, didn't we? What in the hell are the members of the pospile trying to prove? Just how ignorant can they be? Except for bush, they obviously aren't stupid. What end game can they possible have up their slimy sleeves? In a just world, they will go to jail, and be reviled forever. Just how will they avoid this treatment? It's up to the huge majority to which we belong to ensure the pospile will never be forgotten.
