Catherine Rampell:
Job Creation Is Still Steady Despite Worry
Despite concerns about looming tax increases and government spending cuts, American employers added 155,000 jobs in December. Employees also enjoyed slightly faster wage growth and worked longer hours, which could bode well for future hiring.
Jeebus, if we're going to do optimistic spin, can't Izvestia's editors do better than that?
Or not. By "steady" we mean "barely keeping pace with population growth."

Re: Izvestia normalizes permanently high DISemployment
I'll take it as a genuine improvement in employment when they hire someone to write some new boilerplate.
Remember, it takes 150,000 new jobs a month to keep even with population growth . . .
Too cheap even to have an intern do it!
One more tiny tear in the Goebellsian fabric that encloses us.
