More of a whinge, actually. I put my glasses down in the man cave somewhere... And now I can't find them!
Especially frustrating because I'm coming down the home stretch on the upgrade and it's a heck of a lot easier to work on a laptop when you can see!

The nice thing about reading glasses
The nice thing about reading glasses from a place like DollarTree is that at a buck a pair, you can have lots of them lying around. If one is misplaced, put on another to help find it. And if it never shows up or turns up two months later in a pocket of of a jacket you haven't used for a while, no biggie. That probably doesn't help you, but maybe it could.
Dollar Tree glasses are what my mother did...
... doubtless for the same reasons.
Certainly cheaper than progressive tri-focals!
