AP:
FedEx Corp is threatening to cancel the purchase of billions of dollars worth of new Boeing Co cargo planes if Congress passes a law that would make it easier for unions to organize at the package-delivery company, the Wall Street Journal said.
Can you blame them?
After all, exortion worked for the banksters, and they got trillions. So why shouldn't FedEx be able to keep fucking over its workers? They're not asking for nearly so much!

Blackmail or financial terrorism?
Just askin'.
What determines the difference between financial blackmail and financial terrorism?
Only tyrants rig elections.

You ahead make our day, cancel the Boeing order. (May be they don't the cars?)

There are few people more filled with self importance than Members of Congress. I can't imagine them liking this very much. They much prefer to be bribed with donations than blackmailed.
In a weird way, this gives me hope about the card check legislation. No need to pull this kind of crap unless you're really worried.

Ballsy bastards, these FedEx execs! Blatant, too.
So, are they looking for a reason to cancel the orders or want to keep unions out that badly. Oh, both. Probably both.
Another reason to use UPS
They have responded to pressure to stop advertising during the O'Reilly Factor, after his recent despicable stalking of ThinkProgress' Amanda Terkel, who noted that O'Reilly was scheduled to speak for the Alexa Foundation, which supports rape victims, though he has a nasty habit of shaming rape victims, on national television.
Plus UPS is one of the largest employers in my hometown, as well as funding college tuition for their employees.
