Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.

running scared, they is
they can couch it any way they want, but the bottom line is even if they force their kids to read the xtian crap, the lil ones are still going to hear about potter. other kids will talk about it, have the books, toys, dolls, video games, etc. marketing is all powerful like that and will win over even theological interests.
the question i want to know: was there a deliberate push from preachers and religious hucksters to their flocks, telling them to buy this crap? the article notes that sales are up. who else thinks that was coordinated? "and for just 12.95, you can save your child's soul from the potter demon..."
The Bible?
The Bible?
Huh

no, wait, it's not time for pr0n yet.
heh. there's plenty of magic in the bible, and the xtians are more than happy to lay claim to it so long as it's "good xtian" magic. they just code it a little differently, that's all. in all things they tolerate no competition, hence the anti-potter stuff.
still, i think most of the xtian fantasy stuff will fall flat, when kids compare with with the other toys and games out there.
