“Bush bust.” Readers?
Actually, there is a really sick joke in the backstory, here. I missed this “bust” story, back in 2006, although farmer seems to have had a prescient moment back in 2005. WaPo:
Now President Bush’s time in the Texas Air National Guard has been immortalized in bronze. The National Guard Association of the United States yesterday unveiled a bust of a young Lt. George W. Bush. The association expressed its pride in Bush, who is perhaps its most famous alumnus around today.
That’s one of the personal characteristics I most love about our lovable scamp of a Preznit.
When you know Bush got away with something, He doesn’t just wink and smirk to let you know that he knows that you know.
No, he comes back at you, gets you down on the ground, and grinds his heel into your face.
That’s how he lets you know that he knows you know he got away with something.
That’s been his approach to governance generally, and to the Constitution, now that I think of it.
say, anybody ever collect that $50,000 reward Texans for Truth offered for a witness who’d come forward with a Bush sighting during his missing year in the Texas Air National Guard? Didn’t think so.

For a second there, I was thinking that something is seriously screwy and Bush was no longer going to obey the 22nd Amendment. But I guess they’re leaving open the possibility that he dies in office.

On a side note, I actually had this thought today, which I may or may not work into a post entry: for the first time ever, I felt nervous about posting my anti-Bush thoughts at this or any other website. And I’m fucking TINFOIL HAT BOY. I’m paid to be paranoid. But I never thought I’d be nervous about 1st Amendment issues.
