(probably, but not necessarily, Dems) grants ’em blanket, retroactive immunity for the high crimes and misdemeanors for which they could be brought to the Bar.

By the fact that the new regime will temporize and babble about “looking forward, not back,” you will know the fix is irremediably IN.

Why bother

Bush will grant himself and everyone in the administration retroactive-immunity-from-everything-for-life and Mukasey will produce a memo saying that he thinks it’s legal and that’s good enough. Justices Roberts and Alito will agree.

And Benedict Nancy will just be glad that the Buddhas are gone.

But I still believe
And I will rise up with fists!!
