Via Big Orange, FUX is blasting some email:
The O'Reilly Factor plans an update on issues involving DailyKos website the story for Monday.
There are some disturbing images on the DailyKos depicting Sen. Joe Lieberman and others along with some very offensive language. We are asking for statements regarding this issue from each of the Democratic candidates planning to attend the YearlyKos convention.
The image attached is from an active posting. I think that most people would agree that this sort of thing has no place in mainstream political discourse.
Oh my goodness! "Disturbing" images of Joe Lieberman (I-Depends)? What could they be? Readers?
Do they involve diapers?
And hey--what do they mean by "others"?
NOTE Thank The God(ess)(e)(s) of Your Choice, If Any, that we're not "mainstream." I've had my say on Holy Joe already...
UPDATE Here's the picture. That is so very, very, work safe. And so far as I can tell, the only implication of the image is that Bush may, from time to time, be possessed of a manly firmess. No surprise, because he tells us that very thing all the time. Move along, people, move along. There's no story here.

Lieberman (I - Fluffer)
Can we just call Lieberman "Fluffer" from here on out? How about someone holding a sign with this moniker everywhere he goes?

The fluffer
Oh. My Gawd!! To funny. Literally laughing out loud and tasting beer through my nostrils.
another reason i declined the invitation to speak at kos
ha ha, o'reilly would have a field day with my posts. kossack lesbian pr0n writer calls for the death of all republicans!!1! link here!
not that i'm worried about the orange satanists being able to defend themselves. this is what they live for, playing these games with the SCLM
and bobbleheads. i wish them both a lot of fun.
Oh, that would have been fine
Love the headline:
"Kossack lesbian pr0n writer calls for the death of all republicans!!"
Hey, it's entertainment! Lighten up! Where's your sense of humor!
And I'm struggling to find a distinction between cheering that on -- give me the hits! -- and my reaction to the Roberts post. Maybe it's because I know you well, CD, and I don't know Shane-O so well? Hard to say.
It's not an issue of what should or should not be said, but an issue of what it is sensible to say...
Dunno.

i will post on this, because it's been on my mind for
several months now, but let me take a tired late night semi serious crack at what i'm getting at.
re: this post, i'm just tired of playing meaningless games. plainly: anyone watching o'loofa at this point is lost to us, and will hate us even if we lock ourselves in a closet for the next two decades in silence. further, anyone who cares for truth, even my republican millionaire friends, can see that "truth" and bill just don't get along. so what is the point? in caring about what he says, in countering his accusations? to me, it's a tremendous waste of time. didn't some famous guy write a book about lying liars, like, um, years ago? so i'm not sure the additional chapters written in the blogosphere have that much value.
david duke hates me. theocrats hate me. homophobes hate me. i know this. i also know they'll say anything to anyone who will listen to them about how "evil" i am. can i ever change that? not so much, as the saying goes. what i can do: work in my community to convince people (and at this point, it doesn't take much convincing) that what they get from the media has little or nothing to do with their reality. i, on the other hand, offer a growing list of ideas, solutions, and community building, which can. so i think the latter is where my efforts are better spent.
take from this multiracial, metrosexual, overly educated, riches to rags, hated to popular person: someone will always rag on you, speak poorly of you, hate you, etc. caring about what those folks think has yet to bring me any benefit. unless my literal life is on the line, i'm with digby: shunned and ignored.
