According to the Telegraph’s sources, the documents describe particularly gruesome interrogation tactics:
The 25 lines edited out of the court papers contained details of how Mr Mohamed’s genitals were sliced with a scalpel and other torture methods so extreme that waterboarding, the controversial technique of simulated drowning, “is very far down the list of things they did,” the official said.
Another source familiar with the case said: “British intelligence officers knew about the torture and didn’t do anything about it.”
Sure, that's Gitmo. But IIRC, General Geoffrey Miller brought the techniques developed at Gitmo to Abu Ghraib. Hence the question in the headline.

UPDATE See McClatchy, "Why doesn't Obama want us to see what's in the photos? There are a lot of quotes from administration officials saying things like "It’s inappropriate, not so much abusive." So, why not release them? It makes no sense. As Cannonfire remarks:
God bless Barack Obama. I trust him when he says that he can't let us see anything because there's nothing to see.

One wonders at this point who knew what when
Sure, Bu$hCo planned it all for kicks. Yeah, they likely told Nancy and Harry and were able to blackmail the DINOcrats into keeping their mouths shut. No surprises there.
But one wonders if early on in the game both ex-Senators Clinton and Obama were told because, after all they might be Pre$ident some day. Since it was Classified, they kept their mouths shut at their Patriotic duty.
