Don't take the violence bait

Always non-violent, always a winner

I have been hearing some crazy talk, so I guess it is time to say the obvious: solving your problems with violence is like solving your problems with alcohol, all you get is your problem plus violence.

Anyone who has serious concerns about election theft should get themselves to the website of their local electoral board and sign up to be an elections officer. That won't solve the problem of vapor voting, but it will enable you to personally prevent the cruder forms of election theft.

I personally have no concerns about vapor voting at the Presidential level. First of all, given a big enough landslide, it is simply not possible to steal the election. Just ask Ferdinand Marcos. Second, given Obama's careful courtship of Chuck Hagel, I would say that we have the ESS vote sewn up.

In any case, Obama and the DNC need to get out in front of this.

Why The Warning?

I really don't get it. How many groups are we now implicating will riot if either of them win? Can we stop talking up riots, already?

EDIT: Oh, now I see what this was in response, to...

If the Republicans try to steal this one too, I’ll be on the street with a torch and a pitchfork like everyone else I know. - Lambert

Still, all of this talk of rioting sounds ridiculous, to me, as if people are having to talk themselves up to say such things. It just doesn't sound genuine enough to me for it to be taken seriously.

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...

No, it wasn't

But I agree 100% with DCBlogger on calling it out. Even the rhetoric is a bad idea. Non-violence is the only way, and what's more, it's good a track record of success.
