Drawing sharp contrasts with McCain

I'm glad to hear that Obama's finally getting ready to draw some contrasts between Himself and McCain.

Just one thing though: I do have just a little problem with the idea that neither candidate has been drawing contrasts with McCain, and that both should start.

In reality, Hillary's been drawing a sharp contrast all along.

Even though the Media Whores roll their eyes and start fondling their BlackBerries when she does it, and the A listers start snickering because they wannabe entertained, Hillary's campaigning, tirelessly, by giving the voters excruciatingly detailed policy prescriptions showing how government can help them.

Of course, everybody knows that's a contrast to Obama, because Obama's all about the Unity Pony, and for detail, check the website, and now, back to my very personal story of how I got converted to Obama!

But can somebody--preferably, whoever invented and started propagating this stupid meme--explain to me why Hillary's approach isn't drawing a sharp contrast to McCain, as well? What could draw a sharper contrast to the Republicans than a Democrat showing, in detail, how government can help?

NOTE Well, some Democrats. I heard Obama burbling on NPR just this morning that [lowers voice to baritone] "We know. That government is not the anwer. To all our problems," a phrase straight from Foul Ol' Ron's fake book. Sigh. It's never going to end, is it? The Unity Pony drops another steaming load....

You Won't Get Anything If You Don't Ask For It

Via the incomparable Avendon, an interesting article about how the failure of the left generally and African Americans particularly to make any demands on Barack Obama has resulted in lessening the influence of the black community and other liberals this election cycle - http://www.blackagendareport.com/index.p...

And yet another incedibly interesting website discovered this election season that I hadn't known existed in my little insular world.
