"Endless grief"

Eric Boehlert at FDL Book Salon:

the interesting thing about digby’s role in 2008 was that just a few year previous to that most everbyody online thought she was a he, and when she came out as a middle-aged woman (the worse of both worlds, was how she jokingly put it), she noticed a marked change in the way people deal with her.

and last year when she continued to do her media criticism and went afte rthe press for being unfair to clinton, lots of readers took that as a clinton endorsement, which caused her endless grief.

Our Rumproast-y friend Kevin K. wants to hear more about the troubling racism of Obama's Secretary of State and her racist minions. Yet Boehlert had already illuminated one of the many moments of her/their historically historic vileness. Inquiring minds want to know!

Impeccable timing!

Kevin is thinking about compiling all the

incidents of racism in the primary. I think he should do it. Let's put it all on the table and take a look. It's not gonna work out the way he hopes, but it can't hurt to scare people off who did use racism in the campaign. A discussion of what is racist rhetoric will wind up illuminating what is misogynist rhetoric. The problem is that too many Obama supporters have never really considered the issue. That accuse Ferraro of racism and yet Ferraro's comment was identical to comments that Kerry and McCaskill had made as well.

The Obama camp needs to burn through all of their excuses. They still think Clinton was race-baiting despite the fact that at no point in the campaign did she have anything to gain by that and it is at odds with her life history. Obama had a great deal to gain, and did gain a great deal, with accusations. Somehow or the other, that never comes up in their discussions.

Yeah, have at it

I wondered why I was seeing these 5 minute visits in SiteMeter. I guess we'll find out. Obama Golf! And no fair cherry picking comments....

Let 'em do some actual work for a change, instead of being a second rate imitation of the crack den.

Fair? Bwaaahh haaa haa haaa!!!!!

KK's got your "fair" right in his back pocket. And what does it have to do with bug-fucking anyway?

What I want to see is the totally retro, completely out of context racist under a rock hunt. That way I'm not disappointed. His site is so reliably dim, I would hate to see that he did something fair, and/or of substance. Then I would have to occasionally read it, and I don't have the time for that.

Anyway, Shakesville already compiled the vast majority of both the racism and the sexism. It's been done.

Sorry, I don't fall in love with politicians. I'm not that desperate.
