Et tu, Karl?

McCain lying too much even for Rove. Or, more gracefully:

... beyond the 100% truth test.

Though, these days, I should check the entire transcript before posting anything -- even from J. Bradford DeLong, who, after all, is given to posting press releases from the Obama campaign's economic policy director more or less in their entirety. After all, the whole of Tier Two is now one big oppo organization, so.....

NOTE Suspicions confirmed. TP found the transcript, which reads
in relevant part:

[ROVE] But look. Both campaigns are making a mistake, and that is they are taking whatever their attacks are and going one step too far. We saw this this week, for example, in the Obama ad where he makes the point, a legitimate point, that John McCain came to the United States Congress in 1982 and that he has been a longtime Washington insider. But they then say he doesn’t even know how to use a — you know, doesn’t send e-mail. Well, this is because his war injuries keep him from being able to use a keyboard. He can’t type.

Just saying.

Here's the partial transcript--guess what?

http://embeds.blogs.foxnews.com/2008/09/...

This is all I could find right now--but check out the whole (partial) thing. Rove says the lipstick remarks were about Palin (consciously or not) and that the no e-mail ad was a mistake because of McCain's wartime torture injuries--and he spends at least two times or three times as much time on Obama's mistakes as McCain's. Yup, just keep ignoring this stuff, Dems. It will just go away. Just the way it has been, because you're so far ahead...oh wait.

I'm shocked, shocked

That my own team... Oh, wait. I'm under the team bus. Sorry.

[ ] Very tepidly voting for Obama [ ] ?????. [ ] Any mullah-sucking billionaire-teabagging torture-loving pus-encrusted spawn of Cthulhu, bless his (R) heart.

Of course the lipstick

thing was about Palin. I've never heard such an idiotic flood of deny, deny, deny of something so obvious from so many smart people on "my team." If McCain had said something like, "Yes, they can tax you into the poorhouse," would anybody even *try* to argue he wasn't talking about Obama?

Stupid things

And I'm supposed to believe those folks who tell me the world will end with McCain/Palin in the WH? Ha. Every lie makes me more and more confident that McCain won't be evil.

Heck, with the level of lies, McCain may even be a saint. (Kidding)

Nothing more and nothing less.

But, we've always been at war with Eastasia...

Rove's breathing, so he's *lying*. DOY.

(when B-J's working again)

And this:
http://www.oliverwillis.com/2008/09/12/j...

"See! John McCain operate a Blackberry! Watch! John McCain use a cellphone! You see, there is no physical impediment to John McCain using these tools of the now, he’s just intellectually uncurious across the board and makes the active decision even with his vast fortune and position of power within our government, to be uneducated in the basics of the 21st century."

So Rove criticizes McCain a bit, and Obama a hell of a lot, to implant an ongoing lie about McCain's faux-disability in re computers. We expected more from a man who probably has done more to fuck up American politics this decade?

Good reading! Favorite quote: What could go wrong?
Beyond war, inflation, the end of the technology/productivity wave, and financial collapse, we think the most potent and short-term threat would be societies demanding a more ‘equitable’ share of wealth.
