Simultaneously aloof yet hysterical accusation of collusion with political nemeses to appease an unidentified ”sensible center”; identification of blog proprietor with various partisan betes noires; more-sad-than-angry recognition that blog is probably ”past its prime” and that commenter will soon be moving on to fresher, hipper pastures where keener-sighted allies still fight the good fight.

It's good we can laugh at ourselves. It's up to ~700 comments, I seriously doubt I could top some of the very ironic and bittersweet humor over there. Thanks for the link, Sill.
