Friday Foil from Florida

Hmmm.

he Orlando Sentinel has confirmed that one of three men found dead in an east Orange County home in an apparent double murder-suicide is a prominent political consultant.

Ralph Gonzalez was found dead at his home at 2420 Hickory Oak Blvd., his father Rafael Gonzalez, 69, confirmed. Gonzalez is the former head of the Republican party in Georgia and the president of Strategum Group, an Orlando political consulting firm that represents Republican candidates, including many in Central Florida such as state Rep. Andy Gardiner, R-Orlando.

This made my spidersense tingle:

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies have released the names of the other victims, who were found in a room at the three-bedroom house. They are Gonzalez’s roommate David Abrami and friend Robert Drake.

“Roomate?” “Friend?” Right. My gaydar is always extra vibe-y when Florida Republicans are concerned.

And Georgia…as in Georgia that got those fancy no-trail voting machines and then amazingly flipped for Chambliss despite an 11 point deficit a few days before the election? Hmmmm indeed.

Special friends

Via Crime blog, I found this:

Florida Today published an article this morning titled, “Lovers’ fight may have sparked 3 deaths.”

Who the “lovers” were is not clear. Quote:

A Republican Party consultant is one of three men found dead in a Central Florida home Thursday in an apparent double murder-suicide possibly sparked by a lovers’ quarrel, according to detectives.

Sure enough, that’s the headline in the Google cache:
fight
But the Florida Today story has already been scrubbed:

scrubbed

We. Are. Going. To. Die. We must restore hope in the world. We must bring forth a new way of living that can sustain the world. Or else it is not just us who will die but everyone. What have we got to lose? Go forth and Fight!—Xan

Oh, this is fun!

(troll prophylactic, “fun” does not refer to reading about the deaths of three people, no matter who. “Fun” refers to watching the Freeper reaction.)

The Freeper Reaction:

Folks, this story opens an enormous can of worms which is going to be very bad for conservatives in the Southeast. Gonzalez and his firm, based at his address, have all kinds of connections to GOP conservatives around the country. It has satellite offices in Atlanta and Nevada. Gonzalez and his partner (not one of the three) were close associates of Ralph Reed in Georgia. They worked against former Senator Cleland. They were involved in the Florida recount in 2000! (Gonzalez’s partner ran the FL GOP at the time). They worked for Schundler in New Jersey.
Abrami, who is clearly the YR who ran into trouble for using a Clinton photo as a target 15 years ago was involved with Douglas Goetzlow(sp.?) the key player in one of the largest bribery scandals in Central Florida history.

The third guy, Mark Drake, has a more common name and is harder to track.

The circumstances make it almost certain that this is a gay triangle. This is going to be a big mess, unless we are very lucky. It is possible that one or more of these folks could be Freepers!

I applaud the freepi’s honesty in tracking this shit even though it makes Their People look bad. Most unusual in these folks but I guess the Applaud Good Behavior rule has to apply.

[golf clap]

(they have a bit of karmic burden to work off before they get up into Thunderous Applause territory, okay?)

assholes

this garbage postings
Who r u to guess if anyone is gay or not
or if it was a lovers quarrel. You know nothing and you knew
nothing. You can all rot in hell for defaming my cousin

the families of 700,000 dead iraqis really don't give a fuck

about the feelings of the families of dead, war supporting -indeed, enabling and perpetuating- republicans in this country, nor a bunch of folk in NOLA for similar reasons, and neither do i.

fuck off, anon fam. closet case republican faggots make their own hell to live and die in and drag me down in it with them, and so they get the very best and most sincere of my ire.

and another thing: "family" member

so how the fuck did you find this post? you weren’t googling for random non-mainstream news posts on your “family” member’s death, were you? because, you know, that’s kind of gross. that is, clicking on sites that you don’t really know just to read what strangers say about a recent family member’s death. what are you, some kind of death/celebrity freak? it’s not like this post has been picked up in any FL newspapers or even conservative or area blogs…

or perhaps you’re just a bot, programmed to respond to any post with some combo of terms. or perhaps you’re a rovian plant, trying to make me look bad by calling yourself a “cousin” to the deceased person in question.

try again, little rovian. this isn’t going to work either.
