BTW, this is my first post, here. I've been reading this blog since early June, and could not wait to get in (ask Lambert). Some of the smartest writing on the blogosphere I've seen has been written, here. I hope I can keep up.

Being relatively new to this blogging thing, and all, I've removed my introduction as I've already noticed one person around here with trollish tendencies, and I don't want to give folks like that any ammo apart from my writing.

I like knowing more about the writers here. I confess I also enjoy gradually building up a picture of someone who writes interesting stuff, just based on what they write, but it can be frustratingly slow.

For instance, it took me forever to realize that Father Hen Lambert wasn't a grrrrrl.

I tried to post again before, but somehow lost the post.

Anyway, thanks. And yeah, info is not required--only as much as you want to share: "know us by our words." If you like to say more, it's fine. And I like your last paragraph! Yeah, Let's NOT "fall in line"!

BTW, if The Dark Knight is a disguised conservative parable about the simplicity of morality (hey, that sounds like an Obamaism "The Simplicity of Morality"), then conservatives are in more trouble in Hollywood than I thought.

If Bush is Batman, does that make McCain Alfred the butler? Ooo, this is getting fun, where do Clinton and Obama fit into this tale?

yes, i wrote mine about three days earlier than that article. i saw the same messages. tho unlike the writer at WSJ, i did not get a thrill up my voting leg when i did.
