"Get over it" scratching post

It seems that every time we turn around, someone who's on the winning side of media conventional wisdom and/or vote fraud is telling us to "get over" some really shitty thing.
And even when we do, they're watching us like Stepford hawks to make sure our rehabilitation is complete.
If they suddenly lost their hammers, and you could tell them what to get over... over what would you tell them to get?

Themselves
They're not that smart
They're not that politically savvy
They're not that liberal / progressive
They won because partly
The media CDS is extreme
They had their own dedicated cheeleading network
The DNC cheated
They gamed the caucuses
They all got bamboozled by empty rhetoric and now, because of that, we'll all end up with no liberal advances in the next WH.
They've got nothing to brag about.
Go Global!
They're Never Getting Over Themselves
The most telling quote in that piece was from Janet Napolitano - "Some people are unhappy but in the end we’re all Obama supporters[.]"
I have no problem letting the process play out w/out telling
anyone to "get over it." If Obama wins the nomination and continues to win in November then that's the way it goes, but, if he loses in the general then watching them implode will be enough payback.
I love this job!
Where to begin?
Get over Obama's self-evident awesomeness. You may feel it in your gut and up your leg, but lots of people can't find it with two free hands and a flashlight. Figure out a way to get him votes from those who do not swoon at the mention of his name.
Get over passing off planned and announced, signed, sealed and delivered caving as clever politicking and strategery. It's not and anyone who has ever haggled over anything knows it.
Get over the 17% approval ratings your congress holds. Bush's ratings would be a step UP for your club, Nancy P.
Get over offshore drilling. You do realize that your candidate's official position EXACTLY mirrors that of Paris Hilton as expressed in her joke video on funnyordie.com??
Get over ovaries and testes. Even women who are just "feeling blue" should be able to get an abortion. And while you're at it, tell Barack it's mighty white of him to decide he can "afford" me, as a big old fag, my civil rights.
Get over houses. The Dems really do NOT want to go there. Trust me.
Get over playing victim. You seized party power through corruption and fraud and (possibly, but we'll never really know, will we??) subverted the will of party membership. Pottery Barn rules apply. Hillary was in a different aisle when you upended the shelf, and littered the place with fragments, so stop pointing at her and screaming.
(And the Corrente hamsters got over their problems, as this post, which I thought was "lost", is posted and now edited...)
what Tony said--millions of us are
just being further insulted and alienated from what used to be our party.
We're not responding or liking this treatment--as the polls clearly show.
I spent 20+ years as a "yellow-dog" Democrat
only to get accused of being a racist ratfucking Republican for supporting Hillary.
------------------------------------------------
“Payback is a PUMA”
i never seen a campaign insult so many needlessly--
they really are delusional if they think this is a winning strategy.
and what's tragic is that McCain is actually wooing voters every single day.
Tony, you should be
required reading at DK, DU etc. You'd think everything you just said was common sense but evidently it isn't.
Don't forget the Obama Rules
If Obama gets the nomination and loses, it will be the fault of Hillary and her supporters. If Hillary gets the nomination and loses, it will be the fault of Hillary and her supporters.
Also, they never have to get over it, so that's why this is just pretend.
OT, question re delegates.
Can someone clarify why HRC “releasing her delegates” means anything other than they can vote for either Clinton or Obama? Isn’t it true that HRC’s delegates can vote any way they want at any time Or can only the superDs change? It’s my understanding that they could vote Obama or Clinton. It’s all very confusing especially with BO changing the delegates under the radar.
I love this job!
It means that the DNC can make sure that the real vote...
... takes place in the hotel rooms before the floor vote, which will be a sham.
Of course, as I'm sure bringiton would be the first to remind me, 'twas ever thus. So, we know that, but now we really know that.
[ ] Very tepidly voting for Obama [ ] ?????. [ ] Any mullah-sucking billionaire-teabagging torture-loving pus-encrusted spawn of Cthulhu, bless his (R) heart.
Ah, so the importance of releasing the hounds before the
floor vote is in order to manipulate teh outcome. Aha. Hmmm. Of course, this is rumored, so much like HRC quiting after SC, we may still see a floor vote. Not holding my breath....just sayin.
I love this job!
There is nothing wrong with voting
Get over it. There were no problems in FL, OH, NM.
Get over it you conspiracy nuts. No one is allowed to talk about any irregularities on the great orange cheeto.

** will exception be made in November?
i thought some delegates are legally bound to vote
for the winner of the state or for who they pledged to vote for originally, no?
Don't some states bind delegates?
A new variation....
is being found over at TalkLeft.
Jeralyn repeatedly said (when Biden was still a long shot) that he was a "deal breaker" for her. Well, it appears that he's still a "personal" deal-breaker, but she still insists that others swallow their concerns and support Obama...
Despite my aversion to Sen. Joe Biden on the ticket, keep in mind it's my individual reaction to his decades spent promoting ill-advised and draconian crime legislation. It in no way means that the Democratic ticket isn't the preferred one over the other options in November. [More...]
Voting is a personal matter. Regardless of how I end up voting or not voting, I encourage everyone, particularly Hillary Clinton supporters on this site, to get on board and focus on taking the White House back from eight years of abysmal Republican leadership.
or, to paraphrase...
you get over it, so I don't have to
Breaking: Are 18 million voters about to get Barackrolled?

It Would Be a Lot Easier to Get Over It
If they didn't insist on doing shit like this that only further strengthens my suspicion that what a lot Dmeocrats and Republicans really agree on is the hatred of women. Unity, baby.
As one of the Shakeville commenters noted, notice how the words "woman" and "female" never get mentioned. So much easier to get your forced birth zealotry on when you can simply erase the person carrying the fetus from the narrative. See, Silber, Arther ("The fetus only exists because of the woman's body -- not yours, not that of some possibly corrupt and stupid politician in Washington, and not the body of some possibly ignorant and venal politician in a state legislature.")
And I will note that all of this comes after names such as Hagel and Kaine were floated for VP and that the current VP selection has a 36% lifetime rating from the very lame NARAL thanks to his opposition to public funding for abortions and his support for banning the D&E procedure even without a life of the mother exception.
Obama is getting a lot of women's votes because he doesn't want them.* If he did, he ask for them.
* Don't get me wrong, Obama will probably win the women's vote. But he won't get what he should. And this shit is part of the reason why.
The HELL OFF MY PLANET NOW --
That's what I'd tell 'em to get.
You did ask.
I'm Over "Get Over It"
I'm so ready for "I told you so," which makes me feel dirty, as I hate to be that person.
Don't worry, they'll hate you, too
"You told me sos" are rarer than hen's teeth.
That YouTube Revival meetin'
These people have not done one thing since 05/31 (the RBC's day of infamy) to make me regret my reaction that day (i.e., sending them half a $5 bill and wishing them luck in November).
I wish giving up all bad habits was this easy. In the nearly three months since, I have not felt the slightest twinge of temptation to return to the comfortable and familiar ways of the last 26 years of my political life. With each stunt like this, the road back just looks increasingly fogged over.
