I’ve been hearing that people are getting a lot of calls in recent days with more hang-ups and quick “I’m voting for Hillary” messages. That could depress responses. SUSA is the ONLY poll that shows Hillary losing ground. If you look at the trends overall, Hillary is going up in all but one poll. Even the best of them have off days. But we’ll find out soon enough.
Wouldn’t the fact that Clinton swung back help her? I read how confrontations increase voter turnout, contrary to conventional wisdom. Basically, it’s best to never stay hit.
Whatever. I’m going back to work with a knot in my stomach. Honestly, it’s not even about Clinton, but knowing full well she’s our only chance in the GE. If she’s gone, we’re gone in November.
I’ll come back tomorrow evening to watch the results with a bottle of vodka to down. See you all then.

Obama want to depress the vote totals, because the fewer people that vote means Hillary’s winning margin percentage translates to fewer net votes gained.

“She and John McCain are very close,” Clinton said. “They always laugh that if they wound up being the nominees of their party, it would be the most civilized election in American history, and they’re afraid they’d put the voters to sleep because they like and respect each other.”
I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interests of this country.
“He’s never been the president, but he will put forth his lifetime of experience. I will put forth my lifetime of experience. Senator Obama will put forth a speech he made in 2002.”
“I think it’s imperative that each of us be able to demonstrate we can cross the commander-in-chief threshold… I believe that I’ve done that. Certainly, Sen. McCain has done that and you’ll have to ask Sen. Obama with respect to his candidacy,” she said.

Obama Has Gone Heavily Negative in Ads
Could be affecting her turnout or driving down her support. Of course, the NBC station doesn’t note that he’s gone negative in his ad blitz.
Interestingly, Obama is still below 45%. According to Real Clear Politics, he’s never topped 45% in any poll.
Tomorrow’s going to be a nerve wracking day. Damn.
