Beck was brought to Faux because of his ability to be an American version of radio Rwanda. Murdoch is deliberately trying to destabilize our country, what I don’t get is why we are letting him get away with it.
First of all, kudos to all of those who worked on persuading Beck’s advertisers to drop him. Make no mistake, NewsCorp is vulnerable to this sort of tactic.
It is not an accident that Beck went after Obama’s adviser for green jobs. Murdoch is known for his ties to the oil industry through his consultant/influence peddler extraordinaire, Irwin Stelzer.
Given Murdoch’s willingness to use Faux to incite violence, I don’t understand why we don’t insist he get his FCC license pulled. Moreover, given that a subsidiary, of NewsCorp was convicted of piracy, I don’t see why they aren’t forced to forfeit FCC license for corporate misconduct.
Given that Murdoch stole from his own mom, I don’t see why the SEC permits him to head a publicly held company.

Murdoch is far and away the best corporate media target.
Informed Democrats already hate him, and just wait until we tell people he's not a U.S. citizen. The idea that a rich foreigner is meddling in the affairs of our country is bound to raise some hackles.
Nothing is true; everything is permitted.
naturalized American citizen
or he could not hold a broadcast license. But NewsCorp HQ is in the Cayman Islands.
does he hold them or does his corporation hold them?
might be important difference there.

NewsCorp owns the license
but the law says that only American held companies can hold an FCC license.
either way, Murdoch's a foreigner.
Ask for HIS birth certificate, damn it.
(and while you're at it either his green card or his naturalization papers.)

I seem to remember that during the swiftboat crap,
some television network's stock was driven down in a campaign orchestrated by liberal bloggers.
If it worked on that network, would it work on Faux Noise or News Corpse?
The recession also has battered advertising sales at News Corp.’s TV stations, social-networking Web site MySpace and newspapers, which include the New York Post and the Wall Street Journal. The New York-based company reported a fourth-quarter loss of $203 million.
Murdoch's Anti-American. Spread the word: if you advertise on his stations, you're consorting with a seditionist.
The good news is I can go back to watching RFD TV, provided there's anything left over there. I blocked it the day Imus was announced ... you know, not hearing the farm news on local radio because Limbaugh's hogging the channels is a pain in the arse.

Wiki says Sinclair Broadcast Group stock took a dive
after the Kerry Controversy. Apparently Sinclair no longer exists, having merged into the CW
