Well, pardners, it’s time for me to pack up the mule and head on out west, for the annual orgy of wonkery that is the first Yearly Kos. I expect passionate speechifying, partying, plenty of snark and shrill, bad carpeting, and maybe even some organizing. The list is pretty impressive for a bunch of fever swamp kids in family basements.

Unlike probably every other person there, I’m most likely not going to be liveblogging it. I’ll take notes and write later for sure, but I think there will be plenty of liveblogged event diaries over at Kos for those jonesing for the live action. Given my behavior at our last blogging party, I expect to make a few friends and probably one or two playerhaters.

Feel free to dicuss questions like “has Kos sold out to the DLC?” and “is blogging politically relevant or just another form of fundraising for the establishment?” while I’m gone.
