Good news: So-called "public option" also big loser to single payer in MA
Primary tabs
Remember how single payer advocates -- who were fighting for the only policy that could be shown, with evidence, to save both lives and money -- were constantly being told to look to MA for a public option experiment that really, really worked?
Well, in 10 districts in MA, the following question was on the ballot:
Should the representative from this district be instructed to support legislation creating a cost-effective single payer health insurance system that is available to all residents, and oppose laws penalizing those who fail to obtain health insurance.
Guess what happened?
MA voters answered yes in all 10 districts, and the lowest margin was 2 to 1.
Too bad Obama didn't advocate a policy that not only works, but the voters like.
NOTE Career "progressives," you suck. Hat tip, reader JG.

Ha! Good news!
There's been a bit of a single-payer victory tonight, with one vocal supporter of single-payer claiming a governor's seat (in Vermont) and another who might squeak out a win (in Minnesota). I was going to do a rundown tomorrow.
Please do!
And the governor's races too!
Pity
Yup, I was pleased to vote for it. But disappointed, not surprised though, that it was a "nonbinding" one.
It does give some more data points for us single payer supporters to use.
We're not done yet
Medicare for all people are stubborn. I gave a Sestak canvasser an earful the other day, very satisfying.
