I started out with Palin, went to Assemblies of God and the cell-church movement (in which he might fail to account for Saddleback and their adaptation of that approach for more mainstream megachurches), and fell into Amway, Hobby Lobby and US Plastics -- the corporations that back the takeover (steeplejacking) of non-cult churches until they spill out with feral Russian murderous homophobes. It's like a horror show with Air Force access to nukes, and The Family having access to Senator Clinton.
It's deep, folks, but we should keep looking at the sources to teach us what's what. Bonus: The earlier posts are 100% troll free.

Both provided a wealth of info on the dominionist movement. Their perspective is invaluable in trying to understand the threat of the chritianist hordes. Unfortunately neither received the kind of attention their work warrants.
Palin reminds me of my sister-in-law
Oddly enough, I'm not worried about her. She's too damn busy to spend every spare minute in church, which is what turns you into a religious pod person. There is a practicality about her that is appealing.
I'm not saying that she's not a wingnut fundagelical but I've been around those people all my life and in Sarah's case, her personal ambition may blunt it. If that's true, it's not the worst thing that could happen.
