So it was okay when Wal-Mart screwed its workers, schemed to keep them in neofeudal servitude, dumped anybody with even potential health problems, encouraged anybody with enough seniority to feel a sense of entitlement to quit, etc. But when they extended these benefits to gay workers, and went so far as to encourage actual shopping by gay customers, well, whoa Nelly, now Der Jeebus is upset! Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the world's largest retailer, faces a boycott from a conservative group that wants the company to change its policies toward homosexuals.

Operation Rescue/Operation Save America will tell customers not to shop at Wal-Mart starting the day after Thanksgiving, one of the busiest shopping days of the year, the group's director, Rev. Flip Benham, said Friday.

The anti-abortion group is protesting Wal-Mart's August decision to become a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

Yeah, I'm sure gays have been flocking to the Mall of Wal since they started this outreach, living up to the stereotype of being unable to resist bath towels the thickness of toilet paper, decorater Tupperware, and $9.98 shoes. But if even one has actually done so, or worse yet gotten the impression that they would be welcomed rather than stoned by the exhausted old woman who works as greeter on Black Friday, then this gives Jeebus the heartburn and must be stopped.

We welcome their company in our boycott though. Hell, if the Klan announces they're joining too because of the low quality of white robes and pointy hoods, I'll extend the hand of liberal solidarity to them too.
