This guy is shameless. Not only is nothing beneath him regarding dirty politics, but apparently he can get away with saying any old thing that Jesus whispers into his ears.
Like shooting voters dead, or slip into a warm tub and slit your wrists, or “Paul is Dead”. Now it is the Lord’s Will that Huckabee faithful go forth and clog the wireless to prevent reporters from sending in those bad field reports from Iowa. Where do you draw the line when commanding your followers to do your bidding?
He noted that the mainstream media might be “filing a bad story” right now, and if the bloggers were relying on the same wireless system at the hotel, they might be “clogging up the lines” and preventing them from filing. If that’s the case, “thank you,” he said. “You’re doing the Lord’s work.”
This whole story ironically is very similar to the actual GOP playbook. I think Huckster never got the memo about not telling reporters about GOP denial of service attacks. McGee, Tobin, and Raymond all did jail time for the NH phone jamming.
Ok, we know the Huckster is a self-proclaimed computer-illiterate. (Like Bush his office would be email-free and computer-free).. So we can’t blame him too much that his Senator-Stevens-esque understanding of the IEEE 802.11 protocol is a little lacking. But even if you could clog the WLAN, how insane is it that Jesus is involved in such attacks on a Iowa hotel internet service? Also, why does Huckabee assume these reporters are all filing “bad stories”?
I’m waiting for stoning to be a national platform again. Except maybe we can replace stones with cell phones, computer mice, LCD monitors and computer keyboards.

He told supporters...
He told supporters today that if they know their neighbors are supporting someone else to shovel their driveways full of snow so they can’t make it to the caucuses on time.
He’s a funny guy, you know.
that smacks of illegal
I did hear the “joke” about stealing your church’s van to drive people down to caucus.
Did his miss the commonsense fairy visit, or are things so bad now, and Bush cleared the way for nutjobs like Huckabee to proclaim highly illegal acts (like murder) and everyone laughs it off.
Nice, more evangelical
Time
Sure it’s ok to use the pulpit to elect people just as long as you say vote for the good Christians who are former Pastors. See, they never endorsed one candidate over another. And sure, using their vans to shuttle church members is just “community service”.
Hack Huck's campaign email list and send them all
to take a look at this. I think they will find it Enlightening, and Uplifting, and downright Inspirational.
Especially the character played by Samuel L. Jackson. He’s just divine, but not in a black way.
Look, I'm sure we can find "unity" with the Christianists
All we have to do is let them commit election fraud and treat women like vessels. What’s not to like?

and torture
you forgot that, lb. they may not all be antienvironmentalists, and some of them may in fact be heterosexual. but they all lurv them some torture of brown people.
Stop harshing the mellow on torture!
Surely we can come to a “common ground” and torture maybe 50% as many people? Or only 50% as much?
When people come together and do their deep breathing exercises around the big table… Wonderful things can happen, like for example being positively assured that there’s been a slight decrease in waterboarding, and nothing at all is ever on tape!
