I thought Bernie Sanders was God, but I was wrong. Anthony Weiner is God.

We need one of him in the Senate. A perfect confrontation, just utterly perfect. It's long since been time that it was those opposing single-payer to be put on the defensive. If single-payer is so bad and dangerous, come up with something better, you ratfuckers.

As much as I loved this scene, what Weiner just did there isn't rocket science. It's simply competent political leadership. Now, maybe Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid and most of the rest of the Congressional Democratic Leadership for the past 20 years are too stupid to do what Weiner just did, but I kind of doubt it. Rather, when I see things like this it just reminds me how corrupt the party as a whole has become because, really, this isn't that hard. I mean, the man is selling Medicare, a program that has existed for 44 years and is wildly popular.

So I guess I disagree with the title that Weiner is God, I just think he looks like one because he's surrounded by so many of Satan's minions.

Yes, my impression was that this is utterly perfect insofar as this is what Democrats are fucking elected to do. This wasn't so oratorical gymnastic, rather, plain straightforwardness that should be expected of elected officials. Though, he did add a little mustard to it with the "I do you" flourishes.

rise hotels between the street and the ocean, when, logically, if people are coming for the views, boardwalk, and beach ideally the hotels should be on the other side of the street so people can see the ocean. Hotel visitors can see it from their windows whether the hotels were on one side or the other of the street.

With the approved design, pedestrians and those in busses and cars will see the damn hotels.

Stupid.
