Duh.
It's not enough for Petraeus just to issue a statement saying he didn't authorize Guiliana to do this; that's just the kind of "nod and wink" OK that we're used to from Bush and the rest of the Republicans (as, for example, on torture). Petraeus needs to demand that his image stop being used in political campaigns, if he wants to maintain an image of being above politics.
And, of course, by "political general" I mean "ass kissing little chickenshit"--which I promise to retract if Petraeus does as I suggest.
