So AHIP’s astroturf site, Campaign for an American Solution, aka, murder by spread sheet has a web site. Sign up if you want to. Don’t give them your address (you have to give a zip code, use theirs, 20004). Give your name as Single Payer and address as HR 676.

Have I said Thank-you, BC Blogger, recently?
Because if I haven’t, thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.
The work you are doing on this is stellar squared.
I saw an ad out here in California recently by that phony alliance between AARP and various Insurance and Corporate Medical interests that pretends to be about health care for everyone. It went by so fast I forgot to get the details. I’ll look for it again. I know you’ve blogged on this, and I think we’ve had discussions about it, but I was wondering, if you happen to have it at hand, if you could give me the name of the alliance.
AARP is one of the major betrayers, IMHO, to the point where I refuse to join up, no matter how much expensive junk mail they throw my way. I thought about telling them to cut it out, but if I can cut into their massive budget by even a little bit…and I do recycle all the expensive paper they throw my way. And as those of you who are old enough know, you start getting this stuff the minute you hit 50, I believe.
AARP is ripe for a takedown...
… and I must be really off the gird, since I haven’t gotten anything from them. Maybe they think I’m already dead! Good news!
[ ] Very tepidly voting for Obama [ ] ?????. [ ] Any mullah-sucking billionaire-teabagging torture-loving pus-encrusted spawn of Cthulhu, bless his (R) heart.
Thank you for your kinds words
it is good to know people are reading these posts, and I am really grateful for those readers who have posted about their own experience with local groups.
I don’t know anything about AARP’s recent activities, but they have really betrayed their stated mission.
